The boss, Andrew, changed course and set upon a new adventure with his family in 2019 - to make Surrey’s first dedicated Rum distillery!

Family Business

We are a family run business and launched on the 12th of November 2020 with our Golden Spiced Rum. This was followed up with the launch of our Premium Silver Rum on the 23rd of April 2021.

We make Award Winning Premium Rums completely from Scratch in the Surrey Hills, using the finest Cane Sugar Molasses.

From fermentation to bottling, we cover the whole Rum making process, from ‘molasses to glass’ as we like to say!

From grade A sugar cane to Grade A Golden Spiced Rum. Ripping Yarns Golden Spiced Rum was awarded gold in spring 2021.
